When will Jon Stewart be funny again?

I happened to stumble across this newsgroup and was wondering if anyone
else has noticed that the Daily Show nowhere near as funny as it used
to be.

I realize that its fashionable to be anti-Bush right now, but that
doesn't make it funny. I hope you Americans put a liberal in the white
house in 2008. I don't care if liberals are weak on terrorism - I just
want the Daily Show to be funny again.
